How quickly can a physiotherapist visit my home?

We frequently have same-day and next-day availability across Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Solihull, and surrounding areas. Urgent post-discharge and mobility assessments are typically scheduled within 24–48 hours of booking.

How much does home visit physiotherapy cost?

Our pricing is transparent and flat-rate with no hidden fees or travel surcharges. An Initial Assessment & Treatment (approx. 60 minutes) costs £120. Follow-up treatment sessions (approx. 45–60 minutes) cost £95. Discounted 5-session (£450) and 10-session (£850) packages are available.
Do I need a GP referral before booking?

No. Rehalign is a private provider. You can self-refer directly without a doctor's letter. If you plan to claim through private health insurance (AXA Health, Bupa, Vitality, Aviva), your insurer may require a referral before authorizing treatment.
Are your physiotherapists fully qualified and insured?

Yes. Every clinician at Rehalign is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) — the UK statutory regulator for healthcare professionals — and holds full membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). All therapists carry enhanced DBS clearance and comprehensive professional indemnity insurance.
What happens during the initial home assessment?

During your 60-minute initial visit, your physiotherapist conducts a thorough clinical history review, physical assessment (range of motion, muscle strength, balance, gait analysis), and home safety screening. We establish your personal goals and begin hands-on treatment and exercise prescription on day one.
What equipment do I need to provide for a home session?

None! Your physiotherapist arrives with all required clinical equipment, including portable treatment tables, resistance bands, balance assessment tools, goniometers, and biofeedback devices. You only need comfortable clothing and safe space to move.
Can family members or carers be present during sessions?

Yes, we actively encourage family members and carers to attend. We train family members on safe transfer techniques, posture guidance, and how to support between-visit home exercises.
Do you treat patients in care homes or residential care?

Yes. We regularly visit patients in care homes, residential facilities, and assisted living accommodation across the West Midlands, coordinating closely with care staff.
Can I claim through private health insurance?

Yes. Rehalign treatments are eligible for reimbursement with major health insurers including AXA Health, Bupa, Vitality, Aviva, WPA, and Cigna. We provide itemised invoices with clinician HCPC registration numbers.
What is your cancellation policy?

We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a cancellation fee as detailed in our policy terms.
